Job Description

Job Purpose:

To perform complex analytical responsibilities with financial insight into the performance of the business and providing analytical support to variety of ad-hoc projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing and documenting reporting processes, instituting internal controls (both manual and automated) and constantly reviewing those processes to identify any weaknesses in internal controls over financial reporting and suggesting and implementing corrective measures.
  • Ensuring that all the transactions and events are accounted for in accordance with the requirements of IFRS.
  • Analyzing the financial impact of new business strategies and lines of products in accordance with the requirements of IFRS.
  • Coordinating with and supporting Budgeting team in the preparation of annual budgets and long term business plans.
  • Responsible for in depth monthly financial statements analysis, understanding of unusual variances and identifying underlying drivers
  • Preparing ad hoc reports on various KPIs as and when required by the management
  • Report lagging & leading performance indicators to highlight performance issues & concerns in order to undertake mitigating actions
  • Responsible for periodic financial and operational reporting to shareholders as per specified reporting templates
  • Responsible for preparation of monthly business review presentations identifying and explaining variances verses budgets.
  • Drive corporate projects and initiatives towards business efficiencies
  • Rendering financial advice to the management officials of different departments, to undertake proper financial planning and decision making
  • Help in preparation of board packs

Required Skills

Strong experience in management accounting
Strong Leadership skills and advance interpersonal skills.
Strong Analytical skills
Strong knowledge of Telecom Business drivers specifically Revenue and cost drivers.
In depth technical and financial knowledge.
Must be able to multi-task, manage several deliverables simultaneously and work independently
