Job Purpose:

Be a part of BSS Operations team to ensure DC power system availability at all times for better network performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keeping daily track of issues reported nationwide on DC power system (NSS/BSS) by O&M teams and pursue for resolution
• Plan BBS requirement of various capacities in the network & drive the whole BBS process (end to end) from planning, qualification, procurement, installation and its disposal from sites.
• Keep a close check on BBS testing results from O&M teams and based upon that maintain a complete database for BBS tracking.
• Carryout the BBS audit in terms of its performance based on the O&M reports for their sanity check.
• Identify various alarms and relate them into faults critical through analysis.
• Highlight the critical issues in the network after analysis to the management for their solution falling in DC Power domain.
• Work in close coordination with project, solution and MS for the delivery of assigned tasks.
• Assist management in concluding technical quotes, prices and procurement process

Key KPIs:

• BBS is timely ordered and installed before the backup reaches below 30min
• BBS database is updated on daily basis
• Weekly analytical report on system alarms/outages

Overview of GSM network &
Basic knowledge of telecom concepts
Understanding of GSM Network/GSM Network Architecture
Understanding of DC Power System and its working
Hands on experience in Operations/Installation
Able to do analysis and investigations
Good communication skills
Excellent Team Player
Proficient in MS Office package applications
