Job Objective:

Participate being a part of BSS Operations team to ensure smooth network operations and keep a constant check on network performance.

Main Responsibilities:

Keeping daily track of issues reported on nationwide DC power system (NSS/BSS) by O&M teams and pursue for resolution.

Plan BBS requirement of various capacities in the network & drive the whole BBS process (end to end) from planning, qualification, procurement, installation and its disposal from sites,

Keep a close check on BBS testing results from O&M teams and based upon that maintain a complete database for BBS tracking.

Carryout the BBS audit in terms of its performance based on the O&M reports for their sanity check,

Identify various alarms and relate them into faults criticality through analysis

Highlight the critical issues in the network after analysis to the management for their solution

Assist management in concluding technical quotes, prices and procurement process

Work in close coordination with project, solution & MS for the delivery of assigned tasks.

Output/Deliverables:

BBS is timely ordered and installed before the backup reaches below 30min

BBS database is updated on daily basis

Weekly analytical report on system alarms/outages

Overview of GSM network

Basic Knowledge of telecom concepts
